Owner & principal designer Mia Sandmark has been designing spaces for more than a decade. Her design journey first presented opportunities in Sweden, then across the US and Mexico since launching her California based firm in 2017.

Influenced by her Swedish childhood, Mia blends a rich Scandinavian design aesthetic with contemporary accents that feel fresh, warm, and inviting. Kicking off her creative path at The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, Mia spent the early part of her career in the world of all things design: apparel, costume and set design, film production, event designing, photography and more. But it was her return to Stockholm in 2012, where she met her husband Gustaf, that reinvigorated Mia’s passion for Scandinavian design and its keen focus on simple beauty and function. She has since returned to her hometown of Sonoma, CA where she and her husband and their two daughters now live. She works closely with her wonderful team to realize a well-edited and designed space you’ll love.
